March 2, 2021 — Ohio announces public health orders allowing safe meetings and conferences: Events at banquet centers no longer have a 300-person limitation, so long as they comply with other health orders. Read the Health Director's full order.
March 3, 2021 — The U.S. expects to take delivery of enough coronavirus vaccine for all adults by the end of May — two months earlier than anticipated. Read the full AP story.

Travel Advisories: As of March 10, 2021, The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is no longer issuing a travel advisory for those entering Ohio after traveling to states reporting positive testing rates of 15% or higher. Instead, ODH has revised its travel guidance to encourage Ohioans to carefully review Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance when considering travel. Current Ohio Travel Advisories

Responsible RestartOhio is the state's programs and protocols to ensure the health of employees, customers, and their families; supporting community efforts to control the spread of the virus; and, leading in responsibly getting Ohio back to work.
The following sector-specific operating requirements are being followed by Cincinnati region tourism and hospitality based businesses. As of June 2, 2021, all sector specific orders have been recinded by the Ohio Health Director.
Hotels and lodging facilities are essential businesses, and therefore not mandated to close during events like the pandemic.
Hotels have adopted and implemented the highest levels of safety and cleanliness protocols to ensure your healthy stay.
Most hotels and brands have aligned with the American Hotel & Lodging Association's (AHLA) SafeStay program. It is endorsed by groups such as U.S. Travel Association, Global Business Travel Association, Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association, Marriott, Hyatt and Hilton.
In Ohio, events at banquet centers no longer have a 300-person limitation.
Sports Events
Competitive games and tournaments are permitted for sports in Ohio, with full capacity.

Convention Centers
Our regional convention centers have the flexibility and space required to host events within the guidelines provided by the Ohio Department of Health, and are also committed to additional best practices to ensure the safety of attendees.
Duke Energy Convention Center is Ohio's first GBAC STAR Accredited meeting facility, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a Division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, Duke Energy Convention Center has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease. Sharonville Convention Centerhas implemented all required safety guidelines, as well as daily health checks, face mask requirements, providing hand sanitizing stations, air filtration within their HVAC system, barriers in high volume areas and hourly disinfecting of high touch and high use areas. SCC and its partners are offering a Welcome Back promotion for future events.
