Welcome to the home of the 2012 World Choir Games – Cincinnati USA.

In 2009, Cincinnati USA was selected as the first US city ever to host the World Choir Games. While 50 cities around the world competed for the honor, Cincinnati rose to the top due to its rich cultural and musical heritage, state-of-the-art performance venues, world class attractions and passion for the fine arts.

For eleven days in July 2012, 20,000 participants from more than 90 countries and hundreds of thousands of spectators will descend upon Cincinnati USA - making it the epicenter of international arts and culture during the 2012 World Choir Games.

The Olympics of Choral Music

Held every two years in cities around the globe, the World Choir Games are known as "The Olympics of Choral Music," honoring the history and international flavor of choirs with peaceful celebration and friendly competition.

More than 300 competition and public performances will take place in locations like the School for Creative & Performing Arts, Duke Energy Convention Center, Fountain Square, Music Hall, Kings Island, Devou Park and others.

It's more than just a two-week competition. It's the largest and most significant international arts event in Cincinnati USA's history. The World Choir Games has a global reach the likes of which we have never before experienced. The World Choir Games will echo throughout the world, the source emanating from right here in Cincinnati USA.
