* Southbank Shuttle – route stop – Race Street (next Sak’s Fifth Avenue) between 4th & 5th Streets. Current cost is $1.50 (exact change needed and no transfers).  The service is operated seven days a week and run every 15 to 20 minutes. Monday – Thursday – 6 AM – 10 PM; Friday – 6 AM – Midnight; Saturday – 10 AM – Midnight; Sunday – 10 AM – 10 PM.

 

 

MOUNT ADAMS DISTRICT

 

The Mount Adams District is located approximately 10 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. The taxis outside of the hotels can take you to this entertainment district. You can enjoy great views, great food, and great fun! Here is a partial listing of the area venues: The Celestial Steakhouse (fine dining); City View Tavern; Daveed’s (fine dining); Guido’s Lounge; Gusto; Longworth’s.

 

Directions from Downtown Cincinnati – Proceed to 7th Street and turn right; Continue on Gilbert Avenue (0.7 miles); Turn right on Elsinore Place (0.1 mile); Bear left on Elsinore Avenue (0.3 miles); Turn left on Wareham Drive (0.1 mile); Turn right on Hatch Street (0.1 mile); Turn right on St. Gregory Street (0.1 mile). You are now in Mt. Adams and the surrounding streets are “home” to many of the venues listed above. Total distance from downtown is a little over 2 miles.

Directions from downtown Cincinnati  – Proceed east on 5th Street and turn right onto Race Street; proceed one block and turn right onto 4th Street; turn right at the next corner onto Elm Street; Proceed north two blocks to 6th Street and turn left onto 6th Street; Proceed two blocks and turn right onto Central Avenue. Go straight for two blocks and turn left onto 8th Street. You will proceed straight for one block as you will enter onto I-75 South. Proceed on I-75 South for 7.2 miles. Take exit #185 onto I-275 West toward the airport – go 15.6 miles. Take exit #16/US-50 toward Lawrenceburg/Aurora/Greendale – go 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Eads Parkway (US 50) and go 1.4 miles. Bear left on Hollywood Parkway – go 0.2 miles.  An approximate 25-minute drive from downtown Cincinnati.

 

* H & H Transportation runs a bus route from downtown Cincinnati – 5h & Main Streets. The service begins at 10:15 AM and concludes at 8:15 PM – Monday through Friday. On Saturday, the service concludes at 2:15 PM. The cost is $20 round trip (subject to change). Groups of 8 or more can call 513/733-4808 and H & H Transportation will arrange to pick your group up at your hotel.

 

  1. Grand Victoria Casino – 600 Grand Victoria Drive, Rising Sun, IN 47040. Located approximately (45) minutes from downtown Cincinnati. Open daily – 24/7. No admission is charged. Accessible by car or charter transportation.

 

Directions from downtown Cincinnati – Follow the directions to Hollywood Casino. Proceed past Hollywood to Highway 56 – turn left and follow the highway along the Ohio River for approximately 12 miles and Grand Victoria is located on the left. It is approximately 20 minutes from the Hollywood Casino.
