In early 2008, the Cincinnati USA CVB announced plans to expand our multicultural strategies. The ethnic and multicultural meetings market is one of the strongest growing segments in the industry, and we are building a
record of hosting events for people of all backgrounds. In 2008 alone, Cincinnati hosts two high-level multicultural conventions, the NAACP Annual and the National Baptists Convention USA.
Under the leadership of Director of Multicultural Affairs and Community Development Jason Dunn, the CVB will develop resources and partnerships for multicultural meeting planners and members of our community. Our goal is to win more business and encourage a more diverse and creative workforce to choose to make their homes and lives here. Please check back this spring for more information and details on this initiative. |
