Greater Cincinnati Sports Corporation (GCSC) was formed in 1989 to identify, bid, acquire and manage sporting events in the region. As the only dedicated sports commission based in Greater Cincinnati, we are currently representing the tri-state's residents and businesses as well as partnering with the region’s three convention & visitors bureaus; Cincinnati USA, Northern Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky CVB's.
Since its inception in 1989, GCSC has secured more than 150 world-class amateur and national sporting events such as: NCAA Men's Hockey Final Four, NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four, and the World Figure Skating Championships. GCSC has also hosted the annual Mobile Skatepark Series National Qualifier, which itself generated over 10,000 visitors and $8 million combined economic impact and 14 national broadcast segments for the region.
The GCSC events combined annually generate 100,000 visitors, $10 million in economic activity, more than 25,000 total room nights, and network televised broadcasts showcasing the region.
